Lunching & learning

Marigold and I went out for lunch on her birthday and I chose a restaurant that is part of a cooking school here in the city. You always take a risk when you do that but I really like to be around people who are learning. It gives me a sense of community and service. In my experience, the food is rarely bad - they are supervised, after all - and usually, they are going out of their way to give you the best experience they can. This time was no exception. The meal was wonderful and we had a view of the marina right outside the window. Here's a couple of pictures of the birthday lady at the table. (Sorry Mother, there's no picture that you'll like of yourself. We never do!) See that twinkle in her eyes in the first picture? New lenses! They reflect the light.
